
Jumla trekking is the far remote part trekking in the western side of Nepal. The name jumla itself is a named of the head quarter of Karnali zone, and if to compare other, development rare take place and slow in motion. Time seems very stable since the long time. The furrow like road has been recently driven to the head quarter and has not been asphalted. Mostly the people live, in the region, are strongly conservative Hindus and they consider westerner low in cast. As Hindus are prohibited to eat beef they think westerners are low to them, for, they eat beef and pig.
People in the region are lethargic and slow. They are inactive and poor. With strong belief in religion one easily discriminates according to the cast. Brahmin, Chettri, Thakuris are the main habitats of the region and the vicious of the poverty them has caused so-called high cast and rich to exploit the lower and poor easily.
Sukhadik is a large village in western Nepal to the west of the Rara National Park. On the flat plateau of the Karnali prefecture, above 600 ft the national park is located. Peoples grow peaches, apricots, bananas and also cultivate oniouns etc. Rest of the materials they need to by from the others which are being taken in helicopters. As the road line services are poor almost the daily needs materials are very expensive. The houses are made up on slate roofed and thatched style, still making them to boast of their standard living. Beside from the house the banana trees are grown and the bee hives are helping them to improve economic gradually better.
