Bhotekoshi River Rafting

The river runs 70km out of kathmandu and lies in the east is the adventurous one, has direct source of the snow-melting from the Himalayas. The rapid of the rivers caused the rafting duration to be short and is known in Nepal the one out of the other seven.

Making deep gorge the river is also famous for bungee-jump which is suspended on the suspended bridge above the river. It is the steepest and fast current river rafted in Nepal. it is the best short whitewater rafting trip. The river is usually rafted in two days, starting with the lower section on the first day from Khadichaur to Chere village local name and the upper section on the next day from Baseri village known as 95 Km. The rapids at the lower section measure an overall of grade 3 to 4 while the upper section measure an incredible grade up to the 5 This is one of the most challenging short rafting trips in Nepal.

Rafting Itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to the rafting starting point, upper section and In the evening back to camp.

Day 02: Start rafting from the beginning and float down continuously up to the Ending point and back to kathmandu by bus. Trip cost: USD per person.
