The hindu religion has direct and deep relation with the white-cooled mountain. The seat of the meditating god, therefore the word for naming the mountain has deep concern to the shape of it. The word Manaslu means “Soul and intellectuality”.

As the era of　boom in mountaineering was whirling in the world in 19th century the Japanese Team conquered on Manaslu, they boast as the British boast at the name of Mt. Everest. On the concern Japanese regard the Manaslu is the Japanese Mountain as British on Mt. Everest. Though the excursion and survey of Manaslu was made by Jimmy Robert and Tillman in 1950, the Japanese team really interested on the project later on and the expedition team of Japan conquered.
As Japanese team was serious on expedition the people from near by the village rejected the team and asked for the compensation for rebuilding the Monastery which had been supposed destroyed by the former team. the another team divert their way to Ganesh himal and the Japanese team donate the large amount and lead the project a head. They got success even on the unfriendly animosity atmosphere. Later on the environment turned as normal the south Korean, team, another Japanese team grope the footstep of the Japanese first team and succeed. As lovely the shape and looks of Mount Mnaslu many started to head the mountain which once turned up side down, killing 5 climbing members and 10 Sherpa in 1972. Red rose like mountain is beautiful and lovely the way to summit is considered most challenging.
