Nepal Expedition: International Annapurna South(7219m) Expedition

Annapurna south is located at the center of the Annapurna Himalayan Range. The attractive location of the IV mountain is between Annapurna II and Annapurna III.

An amazing wall of the mountain ridges are Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna II – 7937m, Annapurna III – 7555m, Annapurna IV -7525m, Gangapuran -7454m, Annapurna and South -7220m. Fishtail Mountain is also lies in Annpurna region. Dhaulagri lies to the west of Annapurna region, while the world’s deepest gorge Kaligandaki River lies far below  of Annapurna mountains.

In 1970 the first summit was by Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal and after that in 1999 120 expedition team was booked.

Trekking possibilities are varied and most of the team starts from Pokhara. Enjoying the varities of the culture and beautiful scene aroud of 10 days circuit treks take you to the base camp and the expedition project will start from.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. O/N at hotel with BB base.

Day 02-03: procedure for Expediton official documents and getting prepararion yourself. O/N at hotel.

Day 05; Drive Suikhet and trek to Pothana. O/N at hotel or Camp with FB base.

Day 06: Pothana – Nayapul . O/N at hotel or Camp with FB base.

Day 07: Nayapul – Deurali . O/N at hotel or Camp with FB base.

Day 08; Deurali – Himalayan Hotel . O/N at hotel or Camp with FB base.

Day 09: Himalayan hotel – Machapuchere Base Camp. O/N at hotel or Camp with FB base.

Day 10: Machapuchere base camp to Annapurna south base camp. O/N at  hotel or Camp with FB base.

Day 11-23: Climbing period for Annapurna South.

Day 24: Annapurna south base camp to Himalayan Hotel. O/N at hotel  with FB base.

Day 25: Himalayan hotel to Deurali.. O/N at hotel with FB base.

Day 26: Deurali-Gandrung Village. O/N at hotel or Camp with FB base.

Day 27: Gandrung – Birethati – Nayapul and drive to Pokhara. O/N at hotel with  BB base.

Day 28: Drive to Kathmandu. evening farewell dinner party. O/N at hotel with BB base.

Day 29: Kathmandu world heritage center sight seeing or shopping O/N at hotel with BB base

Day 30: Departure to the next destination.

What includes in the package program price?

  • 5night accommodation with bed and breakfast in three stars or equivalent hotel in Kathmandu.
  • satellite phone Gamow bag (prevent the problem of altitude sickness)
  • on sharing basis guide cook, kitchen boy and other helper
  • emergency oxygen – Mask regulator ( unsealed, payable for full amount)
  • For light and charges the electronics instruments solar panel.
  • All local transportation from hotel – airport – hotel.
  • One man one tent during expedition period.
  • Expedition permit and the national park fees sharing permit for south face with other group member.
  • All allowances with food for the expedition crew’s and other staff who support on the way to base camp and their insurance with flight tickets.
