Bhutan Trekking

Trekking in Bhutan is tough and adventurous. Trekkers should readily walk at least 5-7 hours a day. As there are no tea houses and shops aside the trail no more “coca cola” stops. Country is not in favor of individual trekkers, so the additive Charges are high and expensive for the group lesser than four persons. Ground tour cost in Bhutan is USD 200 per person and USD 40 per person as single supplement, in room or tent. Almost the tour and tourism is controlled by the government; there is no competitive huts and lodges along the way. It makes the trekkers feel each day hard and long.

To bring the equipments and other required supplies for the trek the crew droves the horses and yaks. There will be a big broad tent for overnight on twin sharing basis. Each day and morning the meals will be served by the staff from the camping kitchen which they set before you arrive. At the camp in the evening the staff songs and makes little fun. Except that you will chat to them or read books.  As the group leave for trekking they pack it and move to the next spot. Every day all three times meals are hygienic and good. Kitchen staff will prepare near by the tent and serve it almost regularly.
